Thank You

THANK YOU
An original by: Savannah Beck

I am truly amazed
By your amazing grace
It covers me in love that cannot compare
You parted the seas
You were the one who died for me
And I have no words that can thank you enough~~~~
~~CHORUS~~
Thank you for loving me
Parting the seas
And dying for me-----
Thank you for making me
Encouraging me
Every single day ------
VERSE BIT.
We all need to just wake up
Feel you all around us
We need your love and mercy

My God
We need your mercy----
CHORUS
I said thank you for loving me
Making me
Encouraging me
Thank you for parting the seas
And most of all
Thank you for dying for me

I am now a Child of the King!

I sit down on the bike. I let go of the hard concrete. I balance half way down. My feet are on the petals, I start pushing, Viola! I make it safely down the hill and I manage to safely petal up to the porch. That was one glorious moment. Speaking of glorious moments, I have another one I would like to share.
It was the summer before we moved to North Carolina. Vacation Bible school was ending, and we were celebrating with a party. We had all sat down in the circle watching a movie when our pastor, Mark, stopped the movie to ask us a question. He asked us to close our eyes. Then he asked us if we had ever been saved. If not we were to raise our hands. I raised my hand up. Then he took everyone back to the  Sunday school room. He talked to us about our faith and how we should believe in Jesus. That he died on the cross to take us to heaven. That night I was a sure believer. I got  baptized the following week. What  a wonderful God we have! :)

What a Wonderful Wish

I wish my life was like a book. I wish whatever I wrote down would happen. Life would be a breeze. When you made a mistake, you could go back, erase it, and start over. My dream is such a fantasy! Speaking of life, this is where my life begins.
Over the past five years, we have just moved up and up and up. It started when I was six. We left our home town Rock Hill, South Carolina, for the cool mountain air of Tuxedo, North Carolina. Even though all my family was in South Carolina, North Carolina felt like home. Warm and cozy. We lived there for two years.
We moved to North Carolina because my dad was attending Fruitland Baptist Bible College. After he graduated, we moved to Pineville, Kentucky. There he attended Clear Creek Baptist Bible College for another two years. He graduates in May. We moved to Confluence, Pennsylvania where my dad is pastoring a church.
I have two brothers, Stephen, 9, and Silas, 7. My dad is John Beck, whose age will not be mentioned. My mom is Rebecca Elizabeth Beck, but Rebecca Beck does not make sense so everyone calls her Elizabeth. I guess that leaves me. I am Savannah Elizabeth Beck. Yes, I was named after my mom. I am 11 year old. I love the color purple, butterflies, macaroni, ice cream, roller-skating, reading, singing, painting, music, and facebook. This blog will be about the story of my life.
